This thread would work if you rename it "Concept Album Thread" and it was in the Music Forum.

But here is a few bands.

The Chronicles of A06 Volume I: The Dark Tower of Cypher Lecleur - A06 (Assasin Robot who wants to kill his master)

The Crane Wife - The Decemberists (Has like three songs that have a story) (A Guy marrys this girl after finding a crane. more to the story though)

Addicted To Bad Ideas - The World Inferno Friendship Society (About the life of the actor Peter Lorre)

Most Albums of The Mars Volta
(The Bedlam in Goliath) - The Ouija Board that The Band found in Jerusalem
(Frances The Mute) - Guy who wants to find his parents. (Or kill someone I forgot)
(De-loused In The Comatorium) - Guy is in a coma after a huge Morphine overdose and what he sees.

Theres more I know but I dont feel like typing them up.

suffocate for fuck sake - Blazing Fires And Helicopters On The Front Page Of The Newspaper. There's A War Going On And I'm Marching In Heavy Boots is not only the longest album name ever, its about a girl in an insane asylum

there are voice overs throughout the cd that like explain the story but its in swedish so you cant understand it. lyrics are english though.

weezer - pinkerton

im pretty sure theres a story in there somewhere.

Circle Takes The Square - As The Roots Undo

As The Roots undo is a concept album about a man’s life and afterlife. In the beginning we see our hero’s birth and soon thereafter his suicide brought upon by his lack of faith in the human condition. We then see him rising to heaven only to find that God runs a corrupt system. Our hero leads a rebellion and kills God taking his thrown for his own. He finds himself being just as corrupt and power hungry as the previous boss. His subordinates then overthrow him and he is killed for a second time. Of course this is all beautifully narrated with screams and yells that sound like gorgeous poetry.

Queensryche's "Operation: Mindcrime" is about a secret organization led by a mysterious man called Dr. X which is planning on starting a revolution in the States, and drugs young criminals in order to make them commit murders and start riots. This guy, Nikki, is sucked into the organization but he begins to understand what they're doing to him once he is ordered to kill Mary, his girlfriend (who ran from home, became a prostitute and then a nun, she was "saved" by a priest who rapes her once a week).

I'm not telling you the rest of the story, get the album in order to find out!

If you don't know the band, download this album and the following one, "Empire". Awesome progressive/heavy metal from the 80's.
