Good. Kezia is one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. Fortress is good too though. Deffintly check that one out if you havent already.

I've been listening to these guys for a couple years i guess. Love it. Fortress is such a great progression after Kezia.

i am partial to kezia but i love fortress too. after i heard tim say he was going to have less pop i thought "HOLY CRAP there is nothing pop about them!" but i think that it has its "poppy" or catchy parts and manages to build on the strengths of kezia.
This bag is full of big black dildos.

I like the band, they have some amazing guitar work, bass sounds, drum riffs, and vocal range.

I do think however that Kezia was more poppy to Fortress. There was more singing and less screaming on Kezia then on Fortress (which chody's vocals were insane). But hey, to each their own.

Fortress > Kezia. It may be more "metal" sounding, which may deter many people, but it is superior in almost every way (in my opinion). from Rhody's voice to the absolutely nuts guitar/bass work throughout, definitely a contender for album of the year.

Great band. Some of the vocals get rediculous, but I like it for the most part. Awesome stuff.

My favorite band without a doubt.

Getting to see them three times this year!
...First time was a road trip down to Tampa where they opened for A day to remember and silverstein and them... meh.
Next is on July 13th at Warped Tour.
I'm going to love being able to see them on such a small stage... and at least I know the people around me are going to be there for them! Music is always so much better when you know everyone around you is enjoying it too.
And finally in October, they're coming back around for their tour with Unearth.

Can't fucking wait! Such a good year for shows.

As for everyone's comments on Kezia vs Fortress, that's basically the gist of things.

I love both of their albums- Kezia because I'm a sucker for concept albums and everything about it is soo goood. Still can't believe they wrote this when they were still in high school. Fortress is just a perfect album to show how they're growing and improving technically and its still soo fucking amazing. These albums will stick with me for the rest of my life.

I also love concept albums, however Kezia's concept really never got through to me. Any idea what its about really?

some chick, named kezia, is on death row or something of the sort, and it's her story from three different perspectives (a priest, the prison guard, and her) iiiiii believe it's something like that
