Post your favorite hardcore and/or post-hardcore bands. Or just post what you're listening to now and discuss.

cassilis - jehovah oil

prawn - nightmares

We'll talk about how we'll change but we will never follow through.

.44 caliber love letter is an awesome song, also, that's one of my favorite album covers.
as far as Bear vs. Shark goes, probably one of my all-time favorites.

so good.

I don't know if they count, but Fightstar have been described as post-hardcore. The vocalist/guitarist was in a Jonas Brothers-esque band, and ended up ditching them and almost missing a run of shows in Wembley Stadium to record Fightstar's first EP. And I really like them, even though they still have the stigma of his old band around them.

et cetera. Not sure if they count as proper post-hardcore, but I like them.

@gabe
FINCH! Letters to You and What is to Burn were my jams when i was 18.

Rob, digging Fightstar, pretty good. But, I'm curious to hear the jonas brothers-esque band you mentioned.

We'll talk about how we'll change but we will never follow through.

I know. A frustrated 19 year old Deftones fan in a manufactured band. Best thing is, when he started his new band all of the pre-teen saturday morning magazine shows booked Fighstar thinking they'd be similar to Busted, and they never got invited back because of the music. Apparently TV people don't like doing research.

This is an obvi.

HRVRD has elements of post-hardcore if that counts.

some UK hardcore - Gallows. Wade MacNeil from Alexisonfire is now their vocalist, but this is pre-Wade. Frank Carter is renowned for being mental on stage apparently.
