So I decided to finally make a topic for these bros. The first time I saw them live was opening for Foxy Shazam. Later saw them at Skatefest and I have to say they are one of the greatest live shows I have ever seen. I hate dancing but this music makes me groove. They are on Warped Tour right now for anyone going to that near them.

They have a new album coming out soon that they did some recording with the guys from the Deftones.

You can download the Stick UP Kids EP for free here: http://www.karmaloop...ts/default.aspx

these guys are way too good and interesting to be associated with the whole warped tour/absolutepunk scene. hopefully they graduate soon.

I know that these guys are 80's style funk, but you should check out King Kahn and the Shrines and Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears for some more great throwback funk. The two I mentioned are more 70's era, James Brown style funk, but they are both awesome.
