quickly becoming one of my favorite bands.

the new album is fucking amazing and I almost bought it yesterday. Now that I think about it, wasn't it actually on sale a day early? But yeah, I didn't because I'm an asshole and didn't want to spend my money.

i like the upbeat songs and stuff. but sometimes they just drone. its like "holy shit we sing our own made up language and we are so fucking quiet."

but yeah. i like this band.

I've always rejected this band but I listened to Gobbledigook and liked it. Where should I go next?

Besides Međ Suđ, Probably the Takk... album. It's their 'cheeriest' of the others.

I love Sigur Ros... I used to not like them at all, but when I was living in Finland, it was all I listened to it. It just fit the atmosphere of long winters I guess. Takk is amazing. I can hardly wait until September to see them.

i got the new album a week or so early at bonnaroo because they were doing a signing. later on i waited at the stage they were playing at 5 hours before their set and i still didn't get front row. i was still incredibly close and it was honestly the best live performance i have ever seen. they sound 100% exactly like the studio recordings except with about a thousand times more energy. the end of vaka gave me the most intense chills i've ever felt, despite the PA shitting out on them. i can't wait to see them in boston in september. they are amazing beyond words.

gobbledigook sounds very little like the vast majority of their other songs...if you don't like their slower stuff, i wouldn't suggest anything but the first half of takk and the first half of the new album really. i do, however, strongly urge you to give everything else another chance.
