I looked for a topic on these guys but didn't see one.
I wasn't a fan until this morning, myspace directed me towards their new album (uploaded in full on their myspace).
probably my favourite album of this year so far.

I don't know about these guys, some of the last one is really good. The new one kind of seems like a lame attempt at being a classic rock band.

I saw them live with The Fall of Troy, having never heard them before, I must say that their set made me a fan. They were pretty damn good.

I used to be super into them, but honestly their fan base ruined them for me. I'm not really down with caddy 15 year old girls who want to fight over whoever is the hottest guy in the band and fight for the front so they can touch their sweaty bodies, so I haven't been to one of their shows since they played TREOS' finale show in Allston.

I'm like 4 songs into Lowcountry right now and its not too terrible... nothing thats really hooking me yet, though.

Exactly how I felt. Fast forward to saturday at Bamboozle, my love for them was found again. The typical fans were there but damn do the new songs sound amazing. That being said, Lowcountry is one of my favorite albums this year. Very Incubus/Glassjaw-ish with a little southern tinge to some of the songs.

yeah, I can definitely hear the Brandon Boyd with southern rock influence.

I dig Like I Do and Numb. I could take or leave some of the other songs, but they might grow on me in time

After the past month or so of getting into this band, I can conclude that I'm absolutely in love with Low Country. Just about every song on the album is incredible.

There's just nothing more to say, it's so effing good.
