...where Post-Rock was born.

Any other fans here? Spiderland continues to amaze me, in my opinion it's one of the great albums of the 90s, and easily my favorite of all time.

always have to show love for slint. they are kind of the band that i have to be in a very specific mood to listen to, so i don't very often, but i still love them a lot.

i'm just letting you know in advance that this thread will get like 4 posts and then die because no one here listens to stuff like this.

Spiderland is a good album. Wish they made more after that; I feel like they'd have been immaculate. I still enjoy GY!BE and more contemporary stuff more than Slint.

i honestly haven't listened to very much of this band, always known they were good, just never got around to sitting down to a whole album.
aside from that the only post-rock i listen to from time to time is godspeed you! and whatever last fm brings up.

should i start with their 1st or spiderland?

That's a pretty inaccurate statement considering I really like Slint.

Definitely get Spiderland. Tweez is more grungy; it's alright but not great. Spiderland is amazing.

Lol, really? You're getting all worked up over that?

"No one" = "zero people", not "one or two people".
