So I'm listening to this album right now and realized we don't have a thread for this band yet. If you haven't heard Set Sail the Prairie go get it now. You won't regret it.

My band opened up a show for them last month and they were super boring to watch live. I kept trying to watch them and they just couldn't keep my interest. I love them on recordings though so it's really weird.

I bought Set Sail the Prairie for $1.50. That was a good day. I also saw them live, and thought they were pretty good. When is the next album supposed to drop? I think it's called Horses Galloping on Sailboats.

I really couldn't even put my finger on what was so boring. Don't get me wrong, they are hands down phenomenal musicians, but for some reason the music just could not keep my attention. It was a long day for me, maybe that was it. All I know is I walked from the merch area to the in front of the stage at least 10 trys just trying to get brought in. It just wasn't working.

One of my top favorite bands alongside TREOS and TDH. I've never seen 'em live and I'm dying to. =/

Can't wait to hear more on the new album. It's called "Horses Galloping," I believe...

I really enjoy Kaddisfly, which is strange, because I shouldn't. Every time I listen to them, I just think to myself, "I shouldn't, but I must." I like "Buy Our Intentions" a lot, but I've only heard "Set Sail to the Prairie" once.

Hello all, happy Hollandaise,

Kaddisfly News - Early Winter 2008,

There are winds of change in the Kaddisfly camp, and as with the nation, it's time we move forward. First off, we should apologize for not keeping you all updated properly over the last 5 months, but quite honestly there wasn't much to talk about until we knew exactly what we wanted to say. Some of you may or may not know that Kile Brewer has left Kaddisfly. His departure came late in the summer and was not all that unexpected. Kile moved to Denver with his wife and wanted to start a new chapter in his life. We are still very close with Kile and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors.

As Kaddisfly we may very well end up finishing horses galloping one day, but for now I suppose the popular thing to say would be we are on a small hiatus. There will always be our back catalog, and our internet presence will remain the same because Kaddisfly isn't dead, just hibernating. We also still have some unreleased material that may surface at some point.

Now to the moving forward part. Some of us have decided to start a new project called Water and Bodies. If you were a fan of Kaddisfly, we'd like you to check it out. We're very excited, its new, and fresh, and a four piece. With love.

The concept of Set Sail the Prairie is really awesome, I just wish there was more differentiation between the sounds they use on the songs. I like it, it's just hard to listen to all the way through without getting bored.

no, snork is right. kaddisfly rules but they could benefit from keeping their albums a tad more concise.
