What's you all's favorite record? I think it would have to be Transatlanticism or Plans. I can't pick.

definitely transatlanticism, but honestly i love all of them other than plans, which i just like. i thought it was very flat overall, which is why im so glad narrow stairs is (musically) their best record to date.

i'm seeing them in june and i cannot fucking wait.

I want to see them in June. But it's a big venue and I hate those.

I'm really liking Narrow Stairs. Death Cab has always been one of the bands that I think should be a favorite because I love everything about them but for some reason, just aren't.
...and I've got miles to go

lol no, i'd totally go to a big venue. it just makes me sad when a band has to play those instead of smaller venues.

I always want to be more into this band but i only like certain songs. Although transatlanticism is a great album. They are just one of those bands that i can only listen to when im in the mood for them.

Yeah, i read it Kyle.

i just think it's fucking dumb when people base their opinions off what everyone else likes. aka People who try too hard to be "unique." "Oh i used to like Saves the Day/Weezer/Death Cab but then too many people started liking them and i wasn't cool for having their t-shirt that no one else had." I'm glad the glory of TDH is spreading. i hate when people want to keep it to themselves. Based on their sound, i can't exactly picture them selling out. and if they do, farfann00gan them/ but what does popularity have to do with it

When it comes down to it being able to make a living while being a musician is extremely hard. So if a band wants to be able to live a little more comfortably in nice houses or if they want to raise a family then they need more money. How do you get more money by playing venues that fit more people and having more peopel listen to and buy your cd and other merch. I'm proud of bands when they get bigger and get signed to bigger major labels cause that just means they have accomplished what many try to do and dont get to do. So way to actually get somewhere with your dreams.
