Go with the movie, youll just waste your money trying to get with the bartender chick.

I saw it when it came out but havent seen it since so the other day I went out and bought Hot Fuzz. This movie is one of my favorites. Its by the guys who did Shaun of the Dead (im sure most of you are familiar with that one, another great movie) but watching it again I picked up on alot of little subtlties that added so much to the movie, I highly recommend checking it out.

SO pumped for Dark Knight.

I've watched Hot Fuzz about six times now and it still doesn't bore one bit and, like you, I keep finding new subtleties. I absolutely love it.

Would you say it's better then Shaun of the dead? I have yet to see it and it's been on my list of movies to see. I loved Shaun though.

lovelovelovelovelovelovelove the outsiders

I must admit though it didn't capture me as much as the book did. I spent my whole 6th grade (or whenever it was I actually read the book) wishing I could live in that world and be a greaser. I finished that book faster than pie, which is actually astounding for me because anyone that really knows me knows that I don't read shit.

BUT ANYWAYS, this is a movie thread not bdon's book thread so I will continue:

Schindler's List. Such a beautiful movie. I cried so hard at the ending when they had all the survivors go to his grave. It honestly makes me wish I had the power to go back and change everything that was wrong with the world, and perhaps everything thats wrong with it now. It always made me mad that my jewish EX-roomate made fun of a scene in the movie where I guess one of the jewish people are begging for food. Not even because of the laundry list of reasons why its just not cool, but because it makes me angry someone is making a mockery of such an amazing movie. It makes me feel like she didn't really understand the deeper meaning.

other movies I love alot: Rudy, and A League Of Their Own
