These discs are AMAZING. Air is my favorite of all. teh song Daedlus is probably my favorite. Definitely want to go see them perform some of these tracks.

I've only given these a spin 2 or 3 times, but I like them more than Fire and Water.
every day above ground is a good day

i think a song for milly michaelson might be my favorite track of the ENTIRE alchemy index. something about the guitar is so haunting, i absolutely love it.

yeah, air is by far the best. all the rest are wildly inconsistent IMO. all the others have 2-3 amazing tracks and the rest are utterly forgettable.

really? i agree with you on that thought for fire, but i think the other 3 are damn good. i think earth is the most consistent and memorable, but air is a close second. water is great, just except digital sea... but it's all good and i think it was a good effort and on the whole, successful.

That song is amazing. It sounds so hopeless. Definitely strikes some emotions.

As i have all Thrice's records, and have listened to them for a long time. All the Alchemy Index records kinda bore me. But then again, so did Vheissu, so this isn't much of a suprise. They just seem to have lost all the feeling in their music, becoming overly artsy without the musicianship to back it up. Meh, i think that's what happens when you get older, and don't practice anymore.
