formerly of THE LOCUST. his stuff is pretty great. its weird though, how the OC made him pretty popular with people who otherwise listen to some horrible music. like my friend.

Oh god, don't remind me, Locust was awful.
But yeah, I can't believe they actually allowed him on MTV either.
He's also in The Black Heart Procession, check them out on MySpace.

i cant really think of any similar bands, maybe MUM, they are awesome. definitely check out "finally we are no one". my favorite album of theirs.

1. the locust rule.
2. jimmy was also in tristeza and gogogo airheart
3. there are lots of bands like the album leaf. helios, arms and sleepers, hammock, four tet... list goes on for awhile. he's great but not super unique in his area.

2. Yeah, I know this.
3. I agree, he's not 'super unique' but I [personally] love his vibe most.
