Looking forward to seeing Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix DOMINATE the safety position. He played well vs the Titans last week (I went to the game).

Rugby World Cup coming up and our starting full back and scrum half are injured, and we're in Pool A with fucking Australia. I'm going to go for a precautionary "fuck you Stretts" if they thrash us.

wow this is still a website so.

NFL corner:
The broncos won in like february and the season is over.
The Lions did not make the playoffs.
The best game of the year in my opinion: Seahawks @ Vikings. ending nearly gave me a heart attack. And I don't root for any of the two teams!

NHL corner:
I admittedly didn't watch a whole lot of NHL this year, kept up with the scores but watched only a couple of games.
Phil Kessel finally won a stanley cup in his first year with the Penguins. The San Jose Sharks made the finals and it was kind of a surprise. i doubted they could make the playoffs at all!
first two draft picks from last year had good seasons. The Sabres are going to be good very soon I reckon. The Red wings lost richards and Datsyuk who both retired, but got Nielsen and Thomas "Shithead Dumbfuck" Vanek. Other interesting deals from free agency were Lucic to the Oilers, Backes to Boston and I'm probably forgetting other good ones.

Another big news is that from the 2017-2018 season the league will be expanded to 31 teams, and Las Vegas will have its own franchise. No name yet, but they named the GM (and I currently don't remember the name).

I'll try to watch it a lot more next year. I think it could be the year of the Stars. (Also I hope the Red Wings and the Blue Jackets have good seasons).

NBA corner:

ooooh this is going to be a long one. I don't even know where to begin.

the Pistons. They had a great season. after the Tobias Harris trade they became a playoff team, but still with a weak bench. They made the playoffs, loss 4-0 to the Cavs but almost won 3 out of 4 games. Well played. Can't wait for next season.

Kobe Bryant retired. The lakers have a terrible season. Philly tanked.

Steph Curry scored 402 3-pointers in the regular season. Micheal Jordan scored 581 3-pointers in his entire career. Curry is changing the game and has no limits. It's a pleasure to live in this era and witness something so great.
Playoffs: As expected the Cavs make the finals. 4-0 to the Pistons, 4-0 to the Hawks, 4-2 to the Raptors. They play the worst basketball of any team in the playoffs.
Golden State destroys the Rockets but loses Curry and Igoudala to injury and starts to struggle. 4-2 to the Trail Blazers and last minute victory 4-3 against OKC.

Finals: Golden State seems to be back in full force, wins the first two games by 30 points playing with the bench, and look like they can sweep the cavs. then things change. they lose game 3, lead 3-1. Then everything changes. Green is suspended for having reacted to LeBron James walking over him. LeBron isn't. the Cavs win the finals against the best team in NBA's history.

Draft- Simmons goes to Phila, Ingram to the Lakers. Valentine to the Bulls.

Free Agency. a new tv rights deal creates a 24 milion bump in the salary cap. The world as you know it ends and Matthew "Shitlord Fuckscorpses" Dellavedova ears 14 milions per year. Durant joins the Warriors, 29 teams start crying.
D. Rose+Noah+Jennings to the knicks
Rondo+Dwayne Wade to the Bulls
Pau Gasol to the Spurs
Marjanovic+Ish Smith to the Pistons
Barnes to the Mavericks
Howard to the Hawks
Horford to the Celtics
are just some of the crazy contracts signed.

The next season is going to be crazy: will the warriors win everything or will they suffer from losing most of their players and only getting Durant? Will the Cavs accidentally win again? Will other teams be relevant? Can't wait to find out

MLB corner:

I love that you're a Detroit fan.
How'd that come about?

Also: if Stanley Johnson can develop a reliable shooter...

Two of my best friends are from Detroit. One is Jank (f.k.a. Janky; Janky_Hoopty) and the other is a big sports fan and introduced me to NFL and MLB. Also Andre Drummond is like my favorite player ever because he's awesome and cute.
I think we have a really good young team. Tobias Harris, KCP, Reggie and Andre are already great but still developing, and every time I think about how Stan played this year and that he's one year older than me I get so depressed haha. But yeah I think that the moves we made in the free agency are good and we're a little bit better than last season. If everything goes as planned I think we'll be a contender very soon!

Also, I forgot to mention the toughest moment of the season for the lions. Thanks for everything Megatron. <3

I'm not from Detroit, but I'm from Michigan so...eh close enough

How much do you love SVG? He's so angry and round. I love him so much
I like what they did in the draft too. Ellenson was a smart pick up and I think Gbinije will eventually make a great wing off the bench.

Lions: hopefully Eric Ebron picks up some of the slack that will be left in Calvin's wake. He's so talented but he literally has cement for hands.

to be fair I don't think they're from Detroit either but just somewhere in Michigan,
SVG is great. I loved when he said that refs do not call offensive fouls on LeBron. I was like, finally someone says it out loud!
It bothers me when he has to leave Andre out of the game in the last minutes of the game because of hack a * but it's not his fault, just shitty rules. I'm also happy about Ellenson. It was somehow surprising because he was supposed to be drafted a lot earlier, but we got lucky. Honestly I don't know anything about Gbinije, but I trust the coach.

I completely agree on Ebron. I think this is his big occasion to finally become a great and reliable player (that the team needs more than ever, considering Calvin's retirement), but he still needs to work on his game.

The other thing SVG said about Lebron/Cleveland in general was great.
When asked about Tyron Lue's adjustment for the second quarter: "LeBron's always a pretty good adjustment," Van Gundy said, dryly, after his Pistons were dismissed 107-90 by the Cavs on Wednesday.

"That's really smart coaching. It is. That's really smart coaching, to put LeBron on the floor.

"I give him a lot of credit for that 'adjustment,' if that's what you want to call it."

I'm seeing BVS in September and I can't wait!

Fuck the nfl and 66 yard penalties everything sucks everyone is injured we were a contender.

Now let's see what the tigers do in these last few games. I think if the pitching is good we can do well in the playoffs
