I'd say Casey looks more like Nick, because isn't Nick older? I'm guessing.

When I first met Casey he said I look more like Nick than him. So why does Nick look like me when I look like Casey?

Casey and I have the same last name and we both hate shaving. That's why we look so similar!

You're right...by 2 years. However, I don't think that assigns me any "who looks like who" respect.

I'd have to say (in no particular order):

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Dave Weckl, Chic Corea, Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius, Steely Dan, Incubus, 311, Bob Marley (I could put on the Legend CD almost any time of day in almost any situation and be cool with it), Simon Bookish (Prince of Wales is a great song...I heard them for the first time last night!), Thomas Dolby, 80's music that shows up on the 'Remember the 80's?" comp. CD's like Tears for Fears and Men Without Hats with a little Big Country mixed in (I know most people hate that music, but I love the synth keys and 80's fun), Oscar Peterson, Flight of the Conchords, Tenacious D, Radiohead, Coldplay (yeah that's right! even though they ripped off Satriani...I still like them), Reign of Kindo...that's some that come to mind...I could go all day. There's so much good music out there and it's all off of the radio. Gotta explore and I love getting recommendations!

How did you join The Dear Hunter? For the second time (Regarding the making of Act I.

(I'm asking this to all the band members.)

The recording for the first album was pretty familiar territory as we had always recorded together growing up. It wasn't really with the intent of me being the drummer, just me recording on his music as usual!

When I got the call from Casey a couple of years later to join the band, it only took me moments to say YES!!! I was living out in California at the time and got the invite to come out and play a tour in Australia and join the band. I decided to drive with a buddy across the country and see some friends and tourist spots along the way. After a month I arrived on the east coast and everything else fell into place!
