Anyone else here in love with Violet? Aha, favorite one so far, for sure. I know all the EPs are extremely unique from each other, but Violet seems to stick out to me. Maybe it's my personality or personal taste XD I don't know. But it rocks my world right now.

It's really good, and I would say that it's the closest sounding to the Act-albums.
Not sure exactly where I would rank it against the other EPs, maybe nr5 or something.
But if we'd have started years ago
Would we still be here today?
Am I sweeter than the innocence you took from me?
Am I a card to play, or throw away?

It feels like it's the easy like, since it's very Acty, but also: it's good music. I finally just listened to Mr Malum. Oh man, oh god, oh man.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

"Malevolent ballroom" is a good description. There's something... sinister about it. Someone on Twitter said it was like a return to the Dime, and I agree.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

When I first started listening to it, it was the first one I put on, I thought it sounded very "Jewish." Anyone else hear this?

I react strangely to Violet. I both like it and dislike it, love it and hate it, am mesmerized by it and am turned off to it. I can't really explain it but Violet makes me feel very weird and conflicting emotions. It's the only color that really does that to me. It's like I really don't know what to feel when I hear it, so my self just reacts very oddly to it.

I kind of get what you're saying. I feel like whenever I think about violet, I tend to ignore it because it sounds the most like what Casey/TDH has done so far. But when I hear it, I love it. Especially on the 11 track sampler thingy, I would rue the moment when Lillian was about to start, but once it did, I was in love. It's really weird.

I don't know. I'm just strangely attracted to it. It's lovely.

Just going through my first listen of violet... OH MY GOD I'M HOOKED. Mr. Malum is amazing.

EDIT: Just finished Side A. The malevolent ballroom dance analogy TOTALLY fits.

Look Away sounds like it's straight out of a musical. This is not a bad thing. A lot of the others do in some ways (including the Acts) but Look Away is straight up musical exposition.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.
