Would it be worth while mentioning to Fallon that MAnchester Orchestra played with TDH on the release?

Or were they on Letterman? I cant remember

I have no idea. It's really really dumb. The privacy settings or whatever are as open as they can be.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

We want it to be as legit as possible. Find out what the most productive thing to do would be, then pound it like it owes us money.

I think this is key. I think it would be most effective for an official representative of TDH to be the ones doing the talking with the producers of late night shows, rather than a bunch of fans. As the Pitchfork article points at, there's a lot of negotiations/business involved in booking a gig on a late night show, and that's better handled by the pros.

I think we need both. An official rep of TDH needs to be ready to do some talking (and to call off the dogs once the message is received), but I really think a wave of fans saying "we want to see this band on your show, we will promote it and tell everyone we know" (shit, that rhymed), if done properly, will send a clear message. Then TDH steps in and says "so, let's talk."

I don't think anyone is being added against their will now. That was only a few to start: now everyone needs to be approved. Which is ridiculous.

And Derek, there's nothing to do right now. We'll have more info soon.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

Someone should make a post about what should be included in the email, but not list anything that can be copied word for word (because that doesn't really help). That would make it easier for all these people to write something.

Really good to see lots of people helping out TDH and Casey with this, how is everyone doing? need some more inspiration? anyone have more ideas? I think the late night show idea will be another nice little push.

Today a friend commented on my profile picture (blue cover art) and asked if I did it, i replied saying that I wished I did and that it was the cover to TDH blue ep etc etc etc

SO IT IS EFFECTIVE haha

@_stretts Not bad, actually not what I was expecting, had some pre-conceived notions I wouldn't like this band for some reason.

If anyone DOESN'T know what they are supposed to do... where to post, what to say, etc...
Just go to Tara's facebook profile and follow her "activities" on her wall. Post where she posts, like what she likes. She seems to have it all under control

I still think it may be a bit early to be posting to Fallon's FB page. We should probably wait for a response from Nabeel and TDH's management before we make our next strike.

1. WRONG THREAD GUYS (moved it to the proper one)

2. We're not supposed to be doing anything yet. We need to wait, plan, and act as a group. And yes, TDH's booking agent (not even Nabeel) has to be on board first or this will get nowhere.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

Have we heard anything from Nabeel? We really can't start until we have the official contact info, but we need to do this soon. If it's not next week it may be too late.

I think one way around this is if one of us just starts our own late night talk show. Then we can invite them on whenever we want. Any volunteers?

I already have one. Just think Between Two Ferns, but with no famous guest stars, or any guests at all. It's just me sitting in a room beside an empty chair, making fun of myself.
