I had a saved copy of the sheet music for the piano into to Bitter Suite 1 but lost it due to...errors. We got a few links on this site to the sheet music but they're all based from megaupload (which no longer exists obviously) or other upload sites the display an error. Does ANYONE still have a copy of this? I don't care if it's "good" or "messed" up or a "crappy jpg" but good gawd I need mine back. So can anyone help me out (and the rest of this forum so we can at least get one saved here for everyone else and archival purposes)?

This isn't exact but should be good enough and gets you up to the full band part.

The verses are relatively simple: In 3/4, A Maj to F Maj, right hand playing A-C#-E-F-E-C# when the chord is A and A-C-E-F-E-C when the chord is F. The rhythm is constant; each note length is an 8th note. Left hand plays octaves to the current chord.
The "prechorus" is 5 measures: F Maj - F Maj - C Maj - E min - E min. Left hand plays octaves to the current chord. Right hand plays A-C-E-F-E-C when the chord is F; G-C-E-F-E-G when the chord is C, and G-B-D-E-D-B when the chord is E. There are some minor variations to the right hand the second/third time around; I could write that too but it might be good practice for your year to try to figure it out yourself.

The chorus (ending) has the progression (Dmin - Amin) x 2, (F Maj - C Maj) x 2 for the first time.
The second time around, the progression is nearly the same, except the very last two chords are EbMinDim5 (roughly) and E Maj instead of F and C.

Then, piano solo!

Jord made a GP5 for it, if you want it. I might still have it somewhere.

Scott this is wonderful. Thank you SO much for uploading this, lord knows it's better than anything I'VE ever could have done.

I am intrigued by this Cal, and if you can find it I'd love to have it uploaded here.

Hi everyone,

I have been working on a score for The Bitter Suite Part 1. I do not know if it is going to be of any use to anyone but I figured I would post it here.

Since I wanted to sing this as a baritone with a piano accompanist I lowered the original tone down a fifth turning the original A minor to a D minor.
I tried my best to transcribe the music I hear on the track so I hope there are not too many mistakes.
I've added a couple of note from the cello part when I could and added the keyboard part you can hear starting from "She danced...".
For the final part "Where's her heart..." I just made up a basic arpeggio since I couldn't hear anything but the cello playing the bass line.
As far as dynamics, accents and so on are concerned, I just wrote what I felt was ok but it could be subjective.

Please tell me if I got anything wrong or if you think some parts could be improved. I have not had a long experience in music writing.
If you are interested in getting the file .mscz (I used the software Musescore), you can send me a message.

Cheers
