Dang. I just got the email regarding the preorders for Act V. Went to the site with the intention to order the Ultimate Vinyl Bundle but it's sold out! Already! WTF? Can't they produce a few hundred more of the books? I don't really want the stupid matches or flask, I was willing to pay extra for the book. But nope. Seems scammy the way you can only get the graphic novel by buying the ultimate bundle and then they don't even have that many.

Any chance they might produce more due to demand? So annoying...

Ok, so they had CD Ultimate bundles left so I got that and added the vinyl. Geez. Produce more than 200 maybe? They always sell out so fast. Hopefully the t-shirt won't be made out of tissue paper like the t-shirt for the Act IV bundle was.

Man, I sound cranky today. Sorry, haven't been getting much sleep. Have a sick doggie:(

If you're talking about the graphic novel, it's more than likely that it will be sold individually latr on. As for the t-shirt, if you're talking about the Waves shirt I loved it and wear it all the time. Not sure what makes it 'tissue paper'.

All in all, I would say it's far from 'scammy' to put something in a bundle. The whole idea of bundles of stuff like this is that you get things that make it worthwhile for the audience to purchase it. And I would imagine that production of a book isn't cheap when you have to cover the costs yourself (which I imagine Casey and Co. have to do).

By the way, I'm fairly certain the limiting factor on the ultimate vinyl bundle is the variant of the vinyl. Not the book.

Ah, thanks! That's good to know. There is nothing that exciting in the ultimate bundle (to me anyway). I don't smoke or play cards. LOL. So maybe I'll just order the vinyl with the t-shirt I like and get the graphic novel by itself latr.

But if it's just the vinyl that limits the bundle why not then offer it with a different vinyl? Seems silly to me.

One thing I'm stoked for in the ultimate bundle (which I don't think I've seen anyone mention) is the little digital bundle with demos and an acoustic song. Pretty bonery.

yeah, me too. I almost cancelled my order when I found out that they will release the graphic novel separately. But the digital bundle is making me keep it:)

When I ordered this it said that preorders would ship a few days before release date to arrive by the 9th. Anyone get a shipping notice? I ordered the CD bundle (and a separate vinyl, but I know that will be late).

I assume you bought the vinyl in the same order as the CD bundle?
In which case they'll ship everything together when the vinyl is ready.
If you placed two separate orders though, one with the bundle, one with the vinyl, then I don't see any reason why the CD bundle should be late.

It's kind of ridiculously obnoxious of them to not send out the other stuff when its available and then just follow up with the vinyl later...

Agreed - but after Act IV, I'm sure they realized that the cost for sending two separate shipping packages just didn't pan out. It sucks, especially since I didn't order the CD version at all, but what can you do?

I don't even mind not getting my package until late; I just really want a download code by Friday 0:00 instead of at 10 AM when I'm already at work & cannot feasibly download the album or listen to it.

I'm still surprised no one has gotten a shipping notice. I would have thought some of the packages at least would have shipped out by now.

True... still feels like poor planning though. Or at minimum poorly negotiated contracts.
