I don't think she hated her son :P she loved him unconditionally even though she realized how awful he was. In the series he was awful to her too, but in the books she was the only one he was not mean to. He was a real momma's boy :P

Okay, I shouldn't have said she hated her son, but she did make it clear that she knows he's a horrible person.

On the topic of last night: It was pretty slow.
Are we all in the same boat thinking that Petyr Baelish had Joffrey killed? (HAHAHA IN THE SAME BOAT)

I love this show! At the end of this video, when he doesn't know any of the characters names is the best thing ever! I feel that way each week.

It is SO HARD to not be a smug asshole about having read the books.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

Well Mr. Smarty-khaki's, last night it was made fairly clear that Petyr was working with (sassy grandma) to kill Joffrey. They poisoned him with a "gem" from her necklace.

SO THERE

Oh okay, that's all I remembered. I didn't know if he was involved or not, just that sassy grandma (great name) did it.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

I'm really glad they didn't make it weird with Marjorie and the new child King. I can't help but think of "Rookie of the Year" when I see him.

Me too, When she snuck in and sat down on his bed I thought, "OH NO PEDOPHILE TIME."

What a pro... she did exactly what she should have done (and probably gave him his first boner too).

Sassy grandma, fucking great name Kari. Marjorie certainly gave that kid his first boner. Is it bad that I was rooting for that kid to get some sweet action from her? Most of the time I would think the same thing that Kari said, "Oh no, pedophile time", but all of the other crazy shit on this show has numbed my senses about things like that. (I'm strictly talking about when I'm wrapped up in it, watching the show)

So Bran spends a season and a half traveling with his merry band of misfits, he finally sees the very person he's been searching for this entire time (John Snow), and he doesn't even say hello.

Right?! I was bummed when they didn't talk to each other. I like John Snow, that mopey bastard, and it would've made him so happy to see that Bran is alive. Also, Bran should just make Hodor kill everyone in badass fashion all of the time, imo.

actually Bran wasn't looking for Jon.

And I don't remember exactly but I think in the books Sam never tells Jon he saw Bran.

I thought the entire time that Bran has been trying to go north to find Jon at the night's watch. I realize he's trying to get to some prophetic three eyed crow, but didn't the destination start with finding Jon Snow?

Maybe before they ran into Meera and Jojen it was. In the books Meera and Jojen were already in Winterfell when Theon took over but in the series they found each other after the burning of Winterfell. So I guess it initially started out as a quest to the wall to find Jon.
