darien fawkes aka the invisible man from the sci-fi channel series had that same tattoo on his wrist. the snake's segments told him how much invisibility he had left.
also the lead singer of these new puritans has a simple version of that on his palm

my tattoo minutes after it was finished. It represents the pride for my heritage and my love of music. The headstock of the bass was supposed to have my last name in place of where "Fender" would normally go as a way of representing me and my father and the bond that we have with music (both being musicians/songwriters) but the spot was so small that it wouldnt have looked good. Im thinking of possibly having like a ribbon or something with our last name on it just to have that in there at some point
my tattoo all nice and healed (mirror shot of course [dont mind the farmers tan])

I got this done on my 20th birthday (October 13). It was my girlfriend's present to me. The 13 represents both the day I was born, and the fact that my full name (Adam Fernandez) has 13 letters in it. There are several other occurances of that number in my life, but those two are probably the most major. It's my first tattoo, it hurt like a bitch, but totally worth it.
But then they buried her alive one evening, 1945
