Share what you have, what you want, pictures, criticism, whatever.

I want a tattoo. I am not sure where I want it or exactly what I want. I like a few ideas, but I can't tell if I like them strongly enough to get any of them tattooed. One of my ideas is to incorporate the enso into my tattoo, and perhaps put a phrase or word in the middle.

The enso, for those who don't know:

Some phrases I have been thinking about were latin:

Amor Vincit Omnia – Love Conquers All
semper fidelis – always faithful
finis vitae sed non amoris – the end of life is not the end of love
libera te tutemet – free yourself
nec metu – without fear


Let me know what you think. Don't be afraid to let me know if you think it's a completely stupid idea. Also, you could recommend something good to put inside the enso, if you'd like.

it's my own drawing. i drew it the day that my friend died. Here's each part broken down

The cross is for my friend who was shot and killed trying to protect his friend
The wings are for my aunt who died of breast cancer (all her daughers have tattooed wings or angels
The star is my version of "guiding them"

Sic Itur Ad Astra - Thus do we reach for the stars, which can also be interpreted as Thus do we reach for immortality, and to me, they have reached immortality. They will live forever.

so i've been tossing around for an idea of my next/last tattoo. I know I wanted something remotely treos related, but I wanted a bigger meaning behind it, and I think I might have it. so here's my idea


I want to get the treos heart/gear over my heart. but overlapping the heart I want the words "carpe diem." I'm actually thinking about something other than carpe diem cuz its so overused, but the meaning of the tattoo stays the same. Basically live each day to the fulliest from your heart.

You're guys opinions?

my lame tattoo idea is just "some how for now this skin will have to do - this is the last night in my body" in the shape of a gclef. Just don't know where yet. Or when I won't be broke and can do it
