Would it be possible to have these by the headlining tour? It starts 7/15, so we'd have to move the design deadline up some.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

i could change the art design date and move it up to the 6/15. would that be enough time for people?

At least tour starts on the west coast. we all know those hippies don't wear clothes over there

Requests regarding the shirts from tonight:

Brand: American Apparel
Color: Dark Blue

Charles is working on a font
Kari will be sketching up a graphic

Everyone else: I will be needing a catch phrase/motto to go with the LAKE AND THE RIVER font. Preferably TDH related. Graphic may include a deer, so you could come up with something off of that. Post your suggestions.

I'm still gonna work on my own submission(s), although I feel like I have fallen behind on all of this planning and whatnot.

Let us all welcome: New Shirt Design
I call it Crescenzo Dammataur (damma is latin for deer)

EDIT: The printed colors would be simple black and white, on a shirt that is colored or gray. The gray tone of the sketch would be the color of the shirt. The light parts would be white, and the dark parts black. Make sense?

If chosen to become an actual shirt design, I would re-do it in illustrator. So, never fear, vectors are here!
This is just my sketch, silly.

How would you do that? I was just going to go over everything in Illustrator... Makes the lines nice and clean, and I can fix any mistakes my hand makes. I don't want it to look like a drawing, but like a graphic design.

Hmm, personally I think it would look awesome with a "hand-drawn" look (not gritty or anything, just smooth flowing lines). I would do it in Photoshop. To me, inked stuff in Illustrator can turn out a little...sterile, I guess?
The lines would look like they do in my other line-art drawings.

Why are there two entirely separate threads for this nonsense? It's getting me all confused.

This centaur dealyo is pretty/intense. I was going to suggest making it all vectory, but then you said it. So that's fun. The only main criticism I had of it is that it seems that the bellybutton is usually in line with the ridge of the horse's(deer's) spine, and thus this dude is set a little bit high up.

Wouldn't you want the design to be printed as black/grey not black/white? I feel like using the shirt color to fill the grey areas wouldn't read as well and you'd lose the definition of the shadows. I mean, look at way it's done now: the light areas are just the white of the paper and it reads super well. I just don't think it would work if you switched the background color to grey...
I might be wrong. I might make a shitty mock up out of boredom to test that.
Yay arts!
