So I finally got around to reading TWD's comics (I loved the show). Just finished volume two, and I see why people say the comics are so much better.

That show had terrible filler. It literally became a soap opera. I definitely look forward to reading the TPBs.

Just picked up Preacher finally. I plan on reading that once I finish The Wind Through The Keyhole. I also tried using Marvel & DC's online digital comics but I need to get with Marvel as some of the books I purchased, don't show up in my app. Does anyone have an e-reader with the apps on it, working? Thinking about getting the Nook since it has expandable memory.

I dont know why it took me so long to find this thread.
I follow Batman, Batwing, Talon starting next month, and for a few months, the Before Watchmen: Rorschach (JUST because i have a boner for Lee Bermejo's art)

If you cant tell, I like batman

What's good in Batman right now? Rorschach coming out alright? I'd like to read the Ozymandis one but tentative on all...

I really should read TWD comics... I LOVED season one, and then about halfway through season two I just lost interest. Too much farm, not enough zombies.

Theyre doing a Before Watchmen series for every character. I actually have NO idea what any of it is about. I tried watching the movie with a friend and his girl, but they started arguing and i peaced out. Im watching it now as we speak.
And whats good in Batman? SO much. Court Of The Owls just finished and then after #0 issue month next month, Joker comes back in a new event. I cant wait.

For any fans of Hayao Miyazaki, check out the manga of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

Best piece of literature I've ever read. I love the movie, but the manga just completely trumps it (especially in density, movie was like 1st and a half volumes out of 7 and the story was changed).

I thought TWD comic was excellent until the time they showed up at the Alexandria Safe Zone. Then it became boring as shit and the new villain they introduced is fucking horrible, in my opinion.

Wade was right about Court of Owls. So awesome! Dug #13 but pissed they didn't have it at the book store. It's also odd that Snyder said the Joker cover is supposed to be the real one. Super excited to see where it goes. I look forward to reading the tie-ins latr on as well.

Took a break last year but wanted to bump again! What's everyone (anyone?) pulling? Saga's one of the best things ever, Omega Men is great, Hickman is a king, & Sandman Overture is just as pretty as pretty can be.
