Anyone get that new Deadpool?
No, what is it about? Deadpool at any given time, now has at least 4 books out a month.
I thought about picking up the MAX version, but I think quality would be sacrificed for vulgarity, but idk.

the chris hastings (dr. mcninja) one.

I am doing very early preproduction stuff on one of my graphic novel concepts.
Sort of thinking of it as (stylistically, tonally, or inspiration-wise) a combo of Paranoia Agent, Studio Ghibli, Domu: A Child's Dream (and Akira), The Sandman, and the music of Anathallo, as well as the recent nuclear crises unfolding in Japan. Contrary to all of this, though, it might not even be set there, or anywhere in the 'known' world.
It is still very very early on in the "planning" process, obviously.
^_^

Akira is fantastic, Eddie.

Have you seen the movie, by chance?

Of course. I got that bitch on DVD. And on Blu-ray...sort of.
(Akira.mkv)
The comics/manga are far far superior though. The art alone is superb, but given the gripping story and the scope of the whole project..
I've checked those volumes out from my local library a number of times.

I have only seen it so far on my computer. My goal is to get it on DVD though.

Now, I want to read some Dragon Ball.

I love Bone. I own some of the issues 3-4 times, between singles, TPBs and the complete collection I have. I don't read comics any more (I'm too cheap to buy them) but Bone is damn awesome.

I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

quoted for hella truth.

got my girlfriend hooked on Fables, so that is cool.
she also, out of nowhere, bought me both "Death" Sandman spinoffs (Time of Your Life, etc).
so she is the greatest.
