All my favorites are really typical: Mysterious Skin, The United States of Leland, Little Miss Sunshine, Waitress, Loverboy, Little Children, Saved!, Meet the Robinsons, Margot at the Wedding, The Squid and the Whale, Eagle Vs. Shark, Lars and the Real Girl

I hate that Eternal Sunshine is a hipster movie and that if you say you like it, people assume it's just like one of those things that you say to be cool. Because I enjoy that movie way more than most movies, yet people assume I'm just saying I like it to be cool.

it's so kewl making sense
...and I've got miles to go

i find it's one of those movies that walks the line, because it can appeal to people with intelligent cinematical tastes and also appeal to people who just like blockbuster entertainment. it's solid; i'd like to hear anyone say they didn't like it. also, i like how it's about love but it's not a chick flick.

Lars and the real girl was great. if any of my friends had that problem, and they were as cool as Lars, i might play along, too. thank god they never acknowledged the, erm, sexual aspect of it. :| Ryan Gosling is talented and hot.

i've heard people say they didn't like it.

The Butterfly Effect is a movie I enjoy, but feel retarded for doing so.

I haven't enjoyed a movie like I did seeing Cloverfield in theaters in forever.
so good.
on tv screen though? not nearly as good.

I'm not the type of person that walks out of a theater or turns off a rented movie before finishing it, but I was close with Lars and the Real Girl.

I don't normally cry when watching movies, but I was bawling during Lars and the Real Girl. I love that movie.
