Just watched Her, and it was so good. Not really similar in story or theme or whatever, but it reminded me of Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind in the way that it looked and stuff.

I want to watch it, but at the same time i don't. I feel like all the hype everyone has built up around it, that it will be disappointing once i actually see it.

We'll talk about how we'll change but we will never follow through.

The only hype I saw for it was a fashion article on the stylistic choices made in the costuming. Mandarin and grandad collars, high waisted trousers, no denim, no belts, things like that. It definitely looked really nice - I now want to decorate my room like the way that film looked.

So yeah, I managed to avoid hearing anything about it and I think that was good.

that's why i don't read any reviews and i try to not care about what anyone says before i actually watch a movie myself.

so, i'm not gonna say anything about it except that i saw it and enjoyed it.

Her is on my list of movies to watch. It reminds me of the episode of Big Bang Theory when Raj falls in love with Siri. Aside from that, it still looks like a good movie.

So the other night Meghan and I went to see a 1926 silent movie with "an all coloured cast" called The Flying Ace. Probably one of the best silent movies I've seen. It was basically about a World War I fighter pilot turned railroad detective who has to solve the mysterious case of the missing payroll with the help of his one-legged sidekick who is disguised as a hobo and keeps a gun hidden in his crutch.

The one-legged sidekick ("Peg") totally steals the show.

Chris, weird how this is a "trailer" for the show we just saw.

I like when she was insulting the dead relatives in the cemetery.

I rarely watch the same movie more than once, but I've seen Joe Dirt like, fuggin 20 times because it seems like Comedy Central plays it at least once a week when I'm in bed and there's nothing else on.
