when d'you think The Dear Hunter will be coming to the UK? i'm pretty sure it won't be on a tour of any kind (as support of course), but at a festival or something - i was hoping they'd pop up one of the many festivals i was interested in going to this year.

has anyone heard any of the guys mention anything about visiting over the pond?

well they've already been to australia, so it's not out of the question at all. i assume it's easier to go to england than australia.

i would say within the next 12 months.

I long await the day The Dear Hunter arrive here. Casey has never set foot in the UK.

Oh, that's wierd. When i asked him on AIM if he's even been to England, he said no. The UK tour that TREOS did was in late 07 with FFAF, and they did a few small headline shows. Casey had left by then.

I never got to see TREOS, so I'm really praying for a European tour, or just a British tour with a few mainland shows (e.g. Amsterdam obviously)

It could happen soon enough. They went to Sydney for that festival and did a few side shows so they could come over here for a festival and then do that. I wouldn't be suprised. Probably after Act III, though.
