Yea, it's definitely one of the top contenders for AOTY along with TCS, TKoL and Ghost (Devin Townsend)

This is currently my favorite album of the year. Its just...too beautiful. I find it hard to believe he topped For Emma, but he definitely did.

I am quite impressed with this album. While the previous more intimate sound was quite fitting, I certainly like the new direction. Sounds more full, I suppose. Here's a ninja

Saw them play in Holyoke last night, everything about it was beautiful. We were out in the woods with light showers on and off throughout the show, basically the perfect setting imaginable. Definitely doesn't hurt that they're all amazing musicians.

dude i was there too! my birthday was the 8th and my girlfriend surprised me with tickets.
it was SO FUCKING GOOD HOLY SHIT. the live arrangements of Michicant, Hinnom, TX and Wash. are all fucking unbelievable and WAY cooler than the record. also the live version of Blood Bank that they did was unbelievable. the way they re-arranged the older songs to fit with the new band was extremely rad.

i think the most awesome part of the whole night, however (aside from the intermittent showers, which kind of bummed me out before the set but were totally awesome while they were playing)
was Beth/Rest starting after me beginning to doubt they would even play it, and then somehow magically knowing that it was going to happen when it did. as soon as the opening riff started, justin vernon just stood in the middle of the stage with his fist in the air in the most gloriously cheesy rockstar moment ever. it was the absolute shit. i cheered so hard for that song

No idea about Colin Stetson. But holy fuck, that show. Justin Vernon is such a normal dude. I love how not good he is at talking to the crowd. "The theme for tonight's show is stay dry..... or don't...... it's your choice."
