The last song really caught me by surprise. This guy has such an incredible amount of talent. The album is intimately bombastic, and it works on so many levels. This album is absolutely incredible. Oh my.

I have been listening non-stop to this. The whole album just gives me chills. He has such an ability to make his vocal melodies come in waves. Washing over my brain. Also fantastic use of subtle dissonance.

Oh that last song!! I am a fan of 90's BeeGees and I love his side project Gayngs. Ha I would LOVE an album that was exclusively soulful soft-rock cheesiness (but brilliant cheesiness... like an expensive blue cheese) Sounds like it should be in Napoleon Dynamite <<3

you know that Gayngs has a full-length of exactly that kind of music, right? it came out last year and is called Relayted. go get it! haha

i'm fucking with this BI album. it was amazing for driving through the mountains last week.

is it just me or are some of the lyrics jagjaguwar posted for this album... not right? i don't really want to say that for sure because it's so hard to understand what he's saying on most of these songs, but either that or it's full of typos

Iʼm tearing up, acrost your face
move dust through the light
to fide your name
it's something fane
this is not a place
not yet awake, I'm raised of make

like some of those seem to be clearly not right
i am sure of very little on this record but it most definitely sounds like "it's something fake, this is not a place/ not yet anyway"

The new record is absolutely fantastic. The only weak point are some of the songs toward the end, but the entire beginning and middle are awesome, as is Beth/Rest.

Yeah, the new album would be AOTY if TDH or Polkadot Cadaver didn't exist.

fool... i showed YOU gayngs! i love it!! its like indie-kid r&b

also, the lyrics on bon iver. i believe that most are nonsensical. the syntaxs' of the words in the sentences are all wrong. its as though he picked the words for the syllables, not necessarily for the meaning and he slurrs them and sometimes doesnt make them discernible. this is why i fucking love everything about this record.
