well they only have 1 actual concept album besides The Astonishing, being Scenes from a Memory.

But the conceptual/storytelling The Dear Hunter does share with Dream Theater certainly.

Yeah, that's just all I'm getting at. I have a gut feeling that themajority of the users here aren't exactly into progressive metal at all... Their concept albums, storywise, are alright. The Astonishing feels kind of bland and Metropolis, Pt.2, as much as I push that Home is the best song they wrote in the 90s ignoring any Images & Words material, has a kind of wonky story.

Seriously, I totally didn't notice this thing was here. Of course, without the wonder and mystery of a story, I can see why this thread died so fast. I mean it's not like /r/DreamTheater where it's literally everything we do
