Awesome stuff last night. Really looking forward to the Act IV and V re-releases!

It wouldn't play for me for some reason. What's this about re-releases?

Short version is that they're releasing the orchestral part of the albums, with some re-working and some additions (like piano parts), ultimately resulting in instrumental orchestral versions of both albums.

That would be pretty cool. However, I haven't even received my mega bundle yet, I don't even want to think about dropping more money on Act V at this time. Hopefully it's a little ways out and my wallet has time to recuperate.

One other thing that Casey mentioned is that Act V was the last album on their contract with Equal Vision, and they're not re-signing. They're basically going independent from here on out.
The label owns Act V, but the orchestral recordings were paid for by Kevin Pereira, which means that the label has no control over that part of it, which is one of the reasons they're able to do this. Equal Vision and MerchNow will have nothing to do with these orchestral releases (and presumably we'll never have to deal with MerchNow for TDH pre-orders again)

That is WONDERFUL news. Not to deviate from the topic at hand, but is it EV that is under contract with merchnow or the individual bands? I'd really like to reach out to someone and point out the displeasure a lot of us have experienced with merchnow and perhaps suggest partnering with a different distributor. I'd really like to see merchnow take a hit from this and lose a noticeable amount of business. This whole experience was pretty unacceptable.
