I suggest you get out of the country as often as possible. It widens your perspective of America and the world but it also reminds us of why the United States is an amazing country with numerous freedoms and privileges that are often taken for granted and overlooked! You'll definitely appreciate where you're from a little more by exploring other parts of the world.

totally agree with you there mate, ive been to japan twice before (2 weeks and 3 months) and am going again next year for another four months! seriously cannot wait.

id love to travel elsewhere - America, France, ireland, italy - just need to start earning some big dollars haha

little piece of advice...your self description sounds a tad elitist and egotistical. I share a passion for Anthropology, but I feel any true studying Anthropologist would never state the reason for his observation of a forum, if there is such a research method, for fear of it influencing the results.

I would have been interested to know that you're simply an Anthro major at NYU...the other information is useless.

Please don't take this as me calling you out or insulting you...just an oddly timed and placed observation, of sorts.

If you have an suggestions of bands you think I'd like, since we seem to have a similar taste in music, please let me know.

True...but I haven't explored that option yet. Seems like getting in a fist fight with my brother just because he one upped me intellectually wouldn't really help me look like any less of an idiot.

What was going through your mind when your snare broke/failed this summer at the Pittsburgh/Diesel show? You guys played it off as quite the comedy skit, Casey yelling at Andy for continuing to play and whatnot.
