Hey, Erick. I was just wondering your opinions on G&L guitars. Both of the guitarists in my band recently switched to G&L from Fender, and the difference between the two is pretty astounding. G&L makes a Tele style guitar called an ASAT Classic that absolutely blows a Fender Tele out of the water. There's no comparison. They're basically Fenders the way that they should be made and they're pretty much in the same price range. I was just curious as to whether you've ever had the opportunity to play one, and what you thought of them. If you've never tried one out, I'd really encourage you to do so.

yo man! yea dude, a buddy of mine had an asat a while ago and i looooved it. the only problem i had with it was that it wasn't a full enough sounding guitar for the stuff i was doing. i'm a fender guy through and through, but, if i had the money, i wouldn't mind scooping up a GNL someday. word!

So, not to be a creeper, but I was hanging around Holyoke last weekend waiting for Bon Iver to start playing when I'm pretty sure I saw good ol' Erick Serna walking a few rows in front of me.

haha not creepy at all. that show was SO unbelievably epic, man. like, i couldn't BELIEVE how unreal they sounded. and the rain/weather made even more epic. i was completely in awe- straight up.

I heard from someone a while back that they once saw Bon Iver on a rainy day and it was the best show ever... I'm glad that I can now agree. I simply do not understand how his voice (and everyone in that band) is that amazing. Re: stacks? Goddamn.

dude, seriously. EVERYONE in that band is ridiculous. all the harmonies were friggen spot-on. so so good.
