So yeah, a new tour has been announced and it's amazing! So, so far for presale only VIP tickets are available including VIP session called Story Time With Casey.

This Story Time With Casey including soundcheck viewing and also, according to Casey himself "an opportunity to get together, meet face to face, and discuss the larger world that exists in the records - be it the story or the music.".

Do you guys understand that this is most likely going to be a meet and greet or what?
Since the only tickets available so far are VIP, how many of those per night would you guess there might be?

Just trying to figure out if we might get a chance to actually maybe take a picture of the guy and whether or not it might be a crowded situation.

They're coming the closest to me of any of their recent tours and it's on the most convenient day for my/my finance's work schedules. Needless to say i got my VIP tickets ASAP.

I'd say they're either gone or will still go on sale. Some nights have already sold out VIP.

Oh boo, guess I'll talk to my venue about it tomorrow.
Just a 15 minute walk and cheaper than buying on ticketmaster if I get normal tickets

Yep, $50. I'm in Canada, so that was a bit more expensive... super excited about this. There was only 1 VIP ticket left for Buffalo yesterday but that's long gone now.

The Minneapolis VIP seats are unavailable.

I just saw King's X at The Fine Line a little over a week ago and my back was bothering me for much of the show standing for over 4 hours. The whole upstairs area was blocked off for VIP, which I think may be a new thing for The Fine Line as I've been to at least 20 or more shows in the past there, and the upstairs area with the seating has usually been available, even if you didn't buy a VIP/Table seat.

I dunno, given this is a little over 1-week before my wedding, I may just skip this show altogether given it doesn't seem I will have any chance to actually find a seat somewhere. Either that, or maybe skip the openers and show up at like 10PM per not having to stand for well over 3 hours before The Dear Hunter hits the stage.

Had the Lifer's been able to get access to these seats (and I had known about The Fine Line's new restricted access to the upstairs area with seats, I probably would have bought my ticket when they 1st went on sale and likely a VIP. But I'm not sure I'm even going to go to this show now.
