Basically, my metal band recorded drums at the Dear Hunter's studio when they were located in Providence. This is the studio they did Act III at. I ended up befriending Nick, cause we were both around during tracking. Long story short, a few years later, TDH needed a bass player, and I was recommended.

Beard growing tips: Patience and Persistence is what I tell everyone. Don't get frustrated if you have a splotchy beard. The length will overcome that, eventually. It will be itchy for the first 15 days, but that's it. Keep at it, and don't shave.

I am not sure what ways they have or will influence me, but I'm sure it's there. One thing is for sure, I like making music a lot more conceptual, these days. I almost feel like all releases should be conceptual.

thanks for the reply. i think that last line really explained better what i was trying to get at, as in writing more conceptual music instead of the norm. you just put it in much better words than i did.

Maybe this winter I'll try to do the full beard. The problem is, by the time the non-goatee sections are long enough to not look terrible (and I would posit they never reach this point) my mustache hairs are long enough that eating and such are issues.

Then once it's more even, you continue to grow. I'm not saying it's just as easy as wanting a beard, and within time, it's right. There are improvements that you have to make. Everyone has a different thing going on. If I don't trim my correctly, you will notice it curving to the right, a lot. My hair is super curly. My beard naturally grows to the right. So, I have to adjust to that. I also have a part of my neck beard where the grain does a 180, and makes a weird ridge(kinda like those ridgeback dogs). You deal with the cards you are dealt. But, don't give up. Less excuses, more beard.

I can answer that too, silly! After the votes were in and we looked at the colors available from the shirt printer, we chose a minty-ish green (there was no sage, and the light blues were kinda bright). Not too dark, or too bright; So the design will be nice and visible. The image is a dark chocolaty brown. I hope everyone likes mint chocolate chip ice cream....
