Can you make Casey come somewhere closer to me next tour?
Is it true that you got your nickname because your middle toe is greatly elongated?
I hope to set an example. You know, for children and stuff.

Also, Kari told me about what happened when you came to pick up your backpack and she didn't realize you needed to get into the car and she thought you were just talking/visiting. I laughed.

I want to start by asking: by what associations did you come across The Dear Hunter, and what is the story of your joining?
I used to play guitar in the Brobecks, with Dallon Weekes, and Josh Rheault. Casey did our record....so yeahhhhh

Hog Island Oyster Co for sure! it was in the Ferry building. Next time we're there lets all make a trip! And yes the produce stand trip was freaking funny. haha

I've been touring with the band for almost 2 years now first tour managing, then playing bass, aux stuff, and now finally guitar! My true instrument. All normal toes here. bummer.

My favorite fuzz is always changing, I love a classic creamy psychedelic sound. Right now I've got a fulltone 70', which is a NOS 1970 silicon fuzz face clone. I also have a catalinbread octava-magus which is running through a death by audio total sonic annihilation feedbacker lopper. That's for when I want to blow peoples heads off with fuzz.
