I've only found the Delphi Express Foodmart and Lake and the River on a jar of something. What else is there?

Sweet, thanks. There's also a link to the story's art on Kari's portfolio.

Wow, some of those old image links are broken now. Bummer.

All of the hidden references are either family, friends, music, or video games.
The second book had a Said the Whale reference, but no TDH... except I modeled the delivery driver after Max, so I guess that counts.

Here's the most reference-heavy illustration from the third book:

Loving the Nimh book on the bottom of the night stand. Had a substitute teacher in primary school once, and she taught when we were in the middle of reading Mrs Frisby And The Rats Of Nimh, but she kept calling her Mrs Frisky.

Additionally I love the copy of Watership Down up there, one of my favorites

Full list of references:

(Posters)
Miss Leading
Amour and Attrition
Naive Thieves

(Books)
Secret of Nimh
Watership Down
Mathilda
Phantom Tollbooth
Spiderwick Chronicles

I had to think of books that I not only love, but were appropriate to the characters age (about ten years old)... Although I was pushing it with Watership Down because that's a very adult book, but it's my FAVORITE BOOK EVER so I had to include it and make it prominent (top of the pile).
