I was kind of upset sentimentally, I mean I've seen some of my favorite acts there. Most especially Lagwagon, it was the best show of my life. I think the House of Blues venue will be much nicer though and artists know the spot so hopefully they will come back and it'll be better. It's not like Axis or Avalon was wicked nice inside or anything.

I dunno I disagree a little. At first it wasn't even going to be a house of blues, but some ritzy upscale music/resturaunt/night club. I think it hurt the Boston music scene alot venue-wise but since the motivation in the end was probably money and the fact they didn't really care it doesn't matter anymore. The cobs definitely suck, liiie bands having to go to smaller clubs, and the fact that tickets for hob are gonna be a tad bit more pricey

What key were most of the songs written in? And to expand on that, what kind of chords? Minors? Diminished?

I'm a drummer, but i'm trying to expand on my ~guitar skills

I like Worcester for shows more, anyway. The scene is so much more relaxed, it's just most big bands won't go out there to play. I agree with you, Kim, that it's going to hurt the scene in Boston, I didn't think of it that way. Most good bands aren't gonna squeeze in TT's or the Middle East, you know? Sorry if this is stupid, but what do you mean by cobs?

Mostly Cm and Gm, I belive The Evidence is in Dm though.

And why would anyone use strictly minor or diminished chords? I don't think you have a full understanding of the way keys work.

Additionally, the mostly play powerchords haha
